Features

Enjoy bright images in most settings with the Panasonic PT-EW650U 5800-Lumen WXGA 3LCD Projector. It features up to 5800 lumens of brightness and a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which work together to overcome light in most rooms and provide detail in dark areas of the image. Additionally, this projector sports a WXGA 1280 x 800 native resolution for viewing detailed pictures or data.

The PT-EW650U includes a lens with a 1.22 to 2.26:1 throw ratio that can produce images from 40 to 400"; other lens options with varying throw ratio and screen size ranges are available separately. The PT-EW650U features 5-BNC, VGA, RCA composite video, and two HDMI inputs. It is controllable via Ethernet, RS-232, or the included IR remote control.

5800 Lumens of Brightness

With up to 5800 lumens of brightness, the PT-EW650U can produce clear images even in rooms with high ambient light.

Dynamic Contrast of 10,000:1 with Iris Control

The 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio is enabled by an iris mechanism, so whites are brighter and blacks deeper with minimal loss of detail in dark images for comfortable viewing.

WXGA Resolution

The PT-EW650U features a native resolution of WUXGA (1280 x 800), but supports resolutions up to Full HD for detailed image reproduction.

Daylight View Basic Helps Ensure Vivid Images in Bright Rooms

Daylight View Basic uses a built-in sensor to measure ambient light and calibrates image projection to suit, enhancing brightness and halftone color while sharpening details for easy-to-see pictures in well-lit environments.

DICOM Simulation Mode for Medical Presentations

The PT-EW650U offers a DICOM Simulation mode that allows the projector to simulate the results of devices compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function, for display of grayscale images. The DICOM Simulation mode, which supports both Blue and Clear Base, adjusts the gradation between the minimum and the maximum luminance, so gradation is distributed optimally. This feature is optimized for displaying medical images such as X-rays, CAT scans, and MRIs, making the PT-EW650U useful for non-diagnostic purposes such as lectures, academic meetings, and hospital conferences. This feature is recommended for use in medical schools for training and educational use only.

Color Adjustment for Multi-Screen Projection

This function corrects subtle variations in the color reproduction range of individual units set up for multi-screen projection, particularly in side-by-side configuration.

Simplified Installation with DIGITAL LINK

The PT-EW650 features a DIGITAL LINK connection that supports transmission of Full HD video, audio, and control signals through a single Cat5e (or higher) STP cable for distances up to 492'. An optional DIGITAL LINK Switcher or Digital Interface Box allows for source devices to be connected and signals routed to the projector via one cable, saving installation cost and simplifying the A/V system.

Powered Lens Shift, Zoom, and Focus via the Remote Control

The adjustment range of the powered lens-shift function helps assure convenience and versatility during installation. Zoom and focus can also be adjusted via the remote control.

Project onto Curved Surfaces

Horizontal, Vertical, and Corner Keystone Correction adjust the image shape for clear visibility when projecting off-axis or from an unusual angle. Curved Screen Correction allows for the projection of distortion-free images onto curved or cylindrical surfaces.

Lens Options Available

Choose from a selection of optional lenses for your system. The lens options make it easier to adapt the projector to the installation site. Lenses are designed to attach and detach with one-touch ease.

Mechanical Lens Shutter

A mechanical lens shutter prevents light leakage when the projector is on standby mode or temporarily not in use, such as periods during meetings.

Lens-Centered Design

A symmetrical lens-centered design reduces installation complexity and makes these projectors easier to adapt to a wider range of installation sites.

Project Wirelessly with Optional Module

The optional ET-WML100 wireless USB module enables projection of a variety of media via Windows computers, iOS devices, or Android devices loaded with an appropriate app. You can also display content from more than one device at a time in Multi-Live mode.
  • Presenter Light for Windows computers allows you to project stills, video, PDF and PowerPoint files, and other media from your computer screen directly through the projector. Up to four computers can be projected simultaneously.
  • VueMagic Pro for iOS and Android devices allows selected still image and document formats, including PDF files, to be projected. Live Camera mode and Annotate mode are featured, and images from up to four devices can be projected simultaneously.

Integrates into Existing AV Infrastructure

With support for PJLink Class 1, Crestron Connected, AMX, and RS-232C over wired LAN, virtually any legacy unit can be swapped out for a PT-EW650U projector without disrupting existing control and management infrastructure. Emulation via RS-232C allows your original settings to be preserved. In addition, Multi-Monitoring and Control software are available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single computer.

Extended Lamp Replacement Cycle

The PT-EW650U projector features a lamp replacement cycle up to 5000 hours with the lamp power set to Eco mode, or up to 4000 hours with the lamp power set to Normal mode.

Dust-Resistant Cabinet and Eco Filter

The PT-EW650U is designed to protect against dust intrusion with a one-way airflow design and enhanced sealing for the lens block, air intake duct, and Eco Filter. The electrostatic Micro Cut Filter is engineered to capture dust particles and requires no maintenance for up to 15,000 hours. It can also be washed and reused. It is designed to maintain brightness for longer in high-traffic environments while reducing servicing costs.

Eco Management

A variety of Eco Management functions are accessible via a button on the remote control. These include brightness optimization for ambient lighting conditions and lamp power reduction when no input signal is detected.

Quiet Operation in Eco Mode

The quiet design reduces operating noise to just 29 dB in Eco mode.

Easy-Access Lamp and Filter

To reduce hassle, the filter can be replaced via the side and the lamp from the top of the projector. There is no need to remove the unit from its ceiling mount for periodic maintenance.

Such a great good company I ordered a Nikon lens, it is very good . All the package is original. I am so happy with that. The customer service are so good. I will definitely order in future again.

What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

Top-Tier. My new favorite shop for all things digital! They were available ASAP for me the night before a shoot and after a quick call, was able to connect with them and grab the perfect lens while other shops where closed. Highly recommend for all creatives and professionals.

I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.

Initially, the delivery included the wrong lens, but the customer care team was exceptional in resolving the issue. They responded promptly and ensured I received the correct lens without delay. What impressed me the most was their proactive follow-up to confirm that the issue was resolved. The WhatsApp customer care service was also quick and efficient, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. As for the camera itself, the Nikon Z6II is phenomenal—great image quality, fast autofocus, and perfect for both photography and videography.
