TheBG-N7 Battery GripfromVellois designed specifically for the Nikon D810, D810A, D800, and D800E DSLR cameras and accepts one Nikon EN-EL15 battery. Withone battery in the grip and one in the camera, your shooting time is effectively doubled. The BG-N7 can alsohold and utilizeeight AA batteries.Two battery trays, onefor the EN-EL15 and one for the eight AAs, are included.

The design of a battery grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your DSLR, especially in the vertical position. The BG-N7 comes with an alternate shutter release buttonto facilitate shooting when held vertically. The shutterbutton offers a lock position to prevent accidentalrelease.In addition, the BG-N7 has an alternate AF-ON button, multi selectorand main and sub-command dials. Itis designed with an anti-slip rubber grip and firm curvature to further improve handling. Atripod socket is included as is a holder for thecamera's contact coverso as not to lose it when ithas beenremoved to install the battery grip.
