The Panasonic PT-EX16KU LCD Projector is flexible and powerful enough to thrive in a variety of working conditions. With a brightness of 16,000 lumens working off quad lamp technology and a contrast ratio of 2500:1, the PT-EX16KU is encased in a ruggedized chassis for high reliability and durability. It has a 4:3 aspect ratio and XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 that are complimented by an increased functionality and a variety of features.

Pure color control, which independently controls yellow brightness to improve color reproduction, attains this superb brightness with optimal coloring. The mechanical shutter lets you mechanically block the light to completely blackout the screen, and prevents light leakage from the lens. When closing the shutter, the projection image gradually fades out, then gradually fades in when opening, which brings more attractive stage effects.

When installing the PT-EX16KU, plenty of features aide with proper installation. The horizontal and vertical lens shift will let you accommodate many room sizes and shapes and the zoom increases the chances that your existing ceiling mount will not need to be moved. The projector can be rotated 360 vertically for flexible installation. This allows projection from directly above or below, for exciting visual possibilities in art galleries, theaters and showrooms.

Lastly, an iron base plate is mounted to the bottom of the main unit. Also, robust carrying handles attached to the base plate are designed for easy carrying of the projector, which is quite heavy.

For this reason, in addition to the three conventional LCD panels that control the light intensity for the red, blue and green primary colors, the PT-EX16K also features a pure color control function that independently controls the light intensity of yellow coloring. This provides rich overall color expression while maintaining brightness

4 Lamp Optical System Enables Stable, Extended Operation: Even if one lamp goes out during use, the other lamps continue, so projection is not interrupted. Lamp relay mode also allows long time, continuous operation

Highly Durable Optical Engine Ensures Excellent Long Time Image Quality: The LCD panels and polarizers inside the LCD projector's optical block tend to degrade over time. Their degradation strongly and adversely affects image quality. The inorganic LCD panels and polarizers in the PT-EX16K resist time-related changes to achieve a replacement cycle of up to 10,000 hours. This maintains high image quality for a very long time

Adverse Dust Effects Prevented by a Long-Lasting Air Filter: The use of a large pleated air filter has made it possible to achieve a replacement cycle of up to 5000 hours. This greatly reduces maintenance hassles. The filter is also replaced from the front, so there is no need to detach the projector from its bracket in ceiling mounted applications

Optional Smoke Cut Filter Provides Protection from Fine Smoke Particles: The projector can be equipped with an optional smoke cut filter ET-SFE16 to prevent the entry of not only dust but also fine smoke particles, such as those used for special effects at events and stage performances

What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.
