Additionally, an internal focusing design is employed to maintain the sleek profile of the lens during use, which also contributes to fast focusing speeds and quiet operation to suit both stills and video use.

Wide-angle prime 16mm lens provides a 24mm equivalent focal length with APS-C-format image sensors.

Bright f/2.8 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and also contributes to using selective focus techniques.

One aspherical element reduces aberrations and distortions for sharper, clearer image quality.

The lens' sleek pancake design measures 0.9"-thick and weighs 2.4 oz, making it an ideal everyday lens for walk-around shooting.
