Features
The BenQ MH740 Full HD 3D DLP Projector is designed for teaching and presentations in a variety of settings including classrooms and conference rooms. It provides 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a low noise level of only 33 dBA in Eco-Mode. It features a high 11,000:1 contrast ratio, support for multiple 3D formats, and Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution. The projector is powered by a DLP chip system and the lamp features a long life up to 3500 hours. The MH740 is equipped with SmartEco Technology as well, which combines optimum levels of brightness and picture quality for maximum energy savings and a lower overall cost of ownership.
The projector also features a variety of connection options including dual HDMI and VGA inputs. It supports network connectivity via an RJ-45 jack and it's equipped with an RS-232 control terminal as well. The projector provides a powerful 1.5x zoom ratio and multiple picture modes. Plus, the MH740's on-screen display supports 28 different languages. Other features include a built-in 5W mono speaker, a cable lock slot, and a low 0.5W standby power consumption level.
Smart Eco Mode
Designed to minimize power consumption and maximize energy efficiency, Smart Eco Mode cleverly adjusts the projector's lamp power by delivering optimum contrast and brightness levels that use only as much light as needed. When using SmartEco Mode, the projector may use as much as 70% less power than it normally uses.
High Brightness & Contrast Ratio
Besides having a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens, the MH740 also features a high 11,000:1 contrast ratio, which provides whiter whites and deeper blacks for more contrast. A high contrast ratio also makes it easier to read small text on the screen.
0.5W in Standby Mode
When inactive, the MH740 keeps power consumption to a minimum with 0.5W standby power. This technological advancement in energy saving helps extend the projector lamp's life, while also lowering energy costs.
Full HD 1920 x 1080 Resolution
The MH740 supports multiple video formats including 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, and 1080i/p - giving you the flexibility to present in a variety of video formats with Full HD quality. The MH740 delivers five times more detail than a traditional 480p projector.
Large 1.5x Zoom Ratio
For added installation flexibility, the MH740 features a large 1.5x zoom ratio that enables manual zooming. This allows you to place the projector all the way in the back of your classroom or conference room.
3D PC & Blu-ray Ready
The MH740 is built with DLP display technology, which supports 3D functionality. Using 3D in your presentations and lessons allows schools, corporations, and other institutions to bring an immersive learning experience to their students and audiences. All that's required are 3D glasses (sold separately) and 3D content from your 3D-enabled Blu-ray player or your NVIDIA 3DTV Play-equipped PC.
3D Support & Compatibility
The MH740 supports multiple 3D formats including the frame sequential format up to 720p resolution, the frame packing format up to 1080p resolution, the side-by-side format up to 1080i/p resolution, and the top-bottom format up to 1080p resolution.
