Features

TheBenQ MX822ST XGA Multi-Region 3D Ready DLP Projectoris designed for teaching and presentations in a variety of settings including classrooms and conference rooms. It provides 3500 ANSI lumens of brightness with a low noise level of only 38 dBA in Eco-Mode. It features a sharp 13,000:1 contrast ratio, 3D capabilities and XGA 1024 x 768 native resolution. The projector is powered by a DLP chip system and the lamp features a long life up to 3500 hours. The MX822ST is equipped with SmartEco Technology as well, which combines optimum levels of brightness and picture quality for maximum energy savings and a lower overall cost of ownership.

The projector features a variety of connection options including an HDMI input. It also offers a No Source Detected Mode, which will automatically lower the projector lamp brightness to 30% after it has remained unconnected for three minutes. Other features include a built-in 20W stereo speaker system, 3rd generation PointDraw Technology with Multi-Device Collaboration Mode and a low <0.5W standby power consumption level. The MX822ST supports ecoFACTS environmentally friendly packaging as well.

SmartEco Technology
SmartEco Technology is an innovative and environmentally friendly solution that enhances the energy saving capabilities of your projector's DLP system. It strikes an optimized balance between picture quality, brightness and energy efficiency. This allows students and teachers to get the most out of their classroom experience, while also helping the school by extending lamp life, minimizing maintenance and reducing the projector's total cost of ownership.
Eco Blank Mode
Eco Blank Mode allows teachers to blank the projection screen whenever they need to direct their students' focus back on them - or simply when the projector is not in use. When activated, this useful feature will dim the lamp power automatically, which can reduce the projector's overall power consumption by as much as 70%.
No Source Detected Mode
In the classroom, there will be times when the projector is turned on without a DVD player, computer or other display source connected. In order to reduce the amount of power wasted in these instances, BenQ created the No Source Detected Mode. It works by lowering the lamp brightness down to 30% after the projector has remained unconnected to a display source for more than three minutes.
Ultra-High Contrast Ratio
An ultra-high 13,000:1 contrast ratio projects sharp images, even for high brightness projectors. The result is better contrast and blacker blacks.
<0.5W in Standby Mode
When inactive, the MX822ST complies with 2013 EU standards by keeping power consumption to a minimum with <0.5W standby power. This technological advancement in energy saving helps extend the projector lamp life, while also lowering energy costs.
3rd Generation PointDraw Technology with Multi-Device Collaboration Mode
BenQ promotes classroom collaboration as well as teacher-student and student-student interaction by facilitating a diverse learning environment that fosters all learners. Its latest creation, the 3rd generation PointDraw technology, improves teaching and learning. It also provides additional support for multi-device collaboration. With simultaneous teacher-student interaction, students can take turn making their contribution to the lesson under the teacher's complete guidance and control.
Blu-ray Full HD 3D Supported
The MX822ST is built with DLP technology that supports 3D functionality, allowing schools to bring an immersive learning experience to their students with a simple preparation of 3D glasses (sold separately) and 3D content from your Blu-ray player.
3D Capability Improvement
Research has shown a 46% increase in student engagement and a 34% increase in test scores with the use of DLP 3D projection. The MX822ST supports HDMI, designed to maximize your audiovisual enjoyment with the capacity to pass two simultaneous 1080p signals with one connection.

This feature also offers simultaneous 4-1 or partial projection display option for better content management for discussions, presentations, training and classroom teaching.
ecoFACTS Label
ecoFACTS declares that the MX822ST supports the effort to replace hazardous substances by improving material selection, packaging design, energy-saving design and other aspects of the product. The MX822ST includes arsenic-free optical glass, BFR/PVC-free casing plastics and PVC-free plastic packaging.
Multiple Picture Modes

What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.

I purchased the Nikon Z6II through Walmart marketplace during Thanksgiving, and it was one of the best deals available. Initially, the delivery included the wrong lens, but the customer care team was exceptional in resolving the issue. They responded promptly and ensured I received the correct lens without delay. What impressed me the most was their proactive follow-up to confirm that the issue was resolved. The WhatsApp customer care service was also quick and efficient, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. As for the camera itself, the Nikon Z6II is phenomenal—great image quality, fast autofocus, and perfect for both photography and videography. Overall, I’m delighted with the purchase experience with the seller and the product. Highly recommended to purchase from Buy and Direct.
