Features

The BenQ SH940 DLP Digital Projector is designed to project high-definition images with enough brightness to work in settings with high-ambient light.

With full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and 4000 ANSI lumens of brightness at a 50,000:1 contrast ratio, the projector will work in any environment. The SH940 can deliver 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals from cable boxes, Blu-ray players and more. And those images will stay in digital form (no analog conversion required) along the path between the device and the projector thanks to its two HDMI 1.3 inputs.

The SH940's Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) makes even 480i signals look almost as good as high definition. The part that forms the picture in this projector is a Texas Instruments DLP DMD panel. Unlike other technologies such as LCD that use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP Technology uses up to six separate colors to create the best image.

The projector is capable of operating in different regions of the world because it has a 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60Hz power supply, and has the ability to handle NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video signals. The SH940 is energy efficient; it uses only 442W to project its super bright image and in standby mode it draws less than a watt.

The SH940 supports multiple video formats including 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p - giving you the flexibility to present video formats with full HD quality. The BenQ SH940 delivers 5X more detail than traditional 480p projectors
1.5x Zoom for Projector Installation Flexibility
The SH940's 1.5x big zoom feature opens up space with a wide range of throw distances
Lens Shift Gives Extra Room for Minor Miscalculations
Lens shift offers the extra flexibility to overcome any minor miscalculations during projector installation. All you have to do is adjust the switch next to the lens to shift the projected image left or right by 40% or up or down by 125% within the projector housing
Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) Processing
HQV converts standard definition (SD) and regular HD video sources to full HD-like image quality with 80% precisely scaled picture quality. HQV works with both analog and digital video sources
Vivid Color Reproduction
The projector features a 6-segment color wheel to produce realistic color depth and range unattainable with lesser segment color wheels
Rich Gray-Scale
When viewed in a darkened environment, the automatic gamma control provides gray-scale display which reveals details in shadows and in night or darkened scenes
0.5W in Standby Mode
When inactive, the SH940 keeps power consumption to a minimum with 0.5W standby power
Wide Variety of Inputs and Video Formats
The projector supports a wide variety of inputs for connection to other equipment including component video, composite video, HDMI, and VGA, and also an output trigger for connection to automated screen and environment lighting systems
Professional Calibration Control
To reach a higher standard of performance, the projector incorporates expert mode settings in its OSD menus, which requires professional calibration service from authorized installers
Panamorph Lenses Compatible
The projector is compatible with Panamorph lenses that allow you to convert 16:9 projectors to 2.35:1 aspect ratio
Remote Maintenance with Crestron RoomView
The SH940 is Crestron RoomView-supported to provide IT personnel and projector managers real-time, central access and control over a single projector or groups of projectors simultaneously via a single station

Such a great good company I ordered a Nikon lens, it is very good . All the package is original. I am so happy with that. The customer service are so good. I will definitely order in future again.

What didn’t go wrong? I ordered a Panasonic 7,000 lumen projector from this vendor, paying an extra $144 for 2-day shipping. Chose them after exhaustive internet searching for the lowest price I could find (big mistake!). Two days later, I emailed and then called to let them know I did not receive my package and that the tracking number suggested that it had not yet been received by FedEx. The customer service person appeared helpful and offered to ship out a 5,000 lumen projector that we could use until they had my original order ready to ship. Of course they charged me the price for the 7K lumen projector when they shipped the smaller model. Long story short, after several months (July 2024 to December 2024) and many calls and promises to ship the product I ordered, I finally had enough and let them know I would be retuning the item they sent me and purchasing the projector I intended to buy from a more reputable company. It was no longer reasonable to expect my patience. They sent me a return label and appeared understanding. After shipping back their product and waiting two weeks, I called to inquire about the status of my refund (over $3,300). The customer service person stated that it would take up to two additional weeks to process. I have been waiting over two months for my money back and have formally filed a complaint with the State of New York against this business. I fear I will have to escalate legally if the state can’t help me successfully get my money back. Please beware! Use this company at your own risk, the “savings” they promise will not be worth it!

Top-Tier. My new favorite shop for all things digital! They were available ASAP for me the night before a shoot and after a quick call, was able to connect with them and grab the perfect lens while other shops where closed. Highly recommend for all creatives and professionals.

I purchased a DJI drone that said “NEW” on the add and was priced for $899. I payed an additional $24 for expedited FedEx shipping. 3 weeks later I recieved the package (by UPS ground not FedEx) to find not only was it a USED item (not in original packaging) but it was also a completely different item than what I purchased. I called customer service as soon as I made the discovery. I was told that they made a mistake and sent the wrong item. Ok…shit happens right. Then I was told they made a mistake on the price of the original item I purchased and that it would cost me $1100 to get the item I wanted and would take an additional 3-4 weeks to receive. I was also told the item I would get would be a USED item not the NEW item I had purchased. They did offer to discount the drone I received if I was willing to keep it instead of the one I wanted and ordered…um NO! (I have photo and written proof of all of this) I ended up returning the item and canceling my purchase. I decided to spend my $1100 with a reliable company for a NEW item that will be what I wanted and ordered. I will say the man on the phone was nice but everything he said had SCAM written all over. I pray I get my money back in a timely manner. If not it’s definitely going to be a report to the BBB! If you don’t want to wait weeks for what you hope to be the item you ordered then I would suggest you avoid this company. Not a pleasurable experience.

I purchased the Nikon Z6II through Walmart marketplace during Thanksgiving, and it was one of the best deals available. Initially, the delivery included the wrong lens, but the customer care team was exceptional in resolving the issue. They responded promptly and ensured I received the correct lens without delay. What impressed me the most was their proactive follow-up to confirm that the issue was resolved. The WhatsApp customer care service was also quick and efficient, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free. As for the camera itself, the Nikon Z6II is phenomenal—great image quality, fast autofocus, and perfect for both photography and videography. Overall, I’m delighted with the purchase experience with the seller and the product. Highly recommended to purchase from Buy and Direct.
